Congratulations to the Commercial Foods students who participated in and won awards while competing in the International Food Service Executives Association Culinary Art Salon at the Chesapeake Conference Center, Friday, January 13, 2006!

Students baked products of their choice and submitted them for judging based on presentation, originality, work quality and composition. Virginia Beach Central Academy had seven entrants in the competition; five students received medals, winning one first place, 1 second place and three third place medals.
